Aura (Wild Inside Pt 1), Framed Original
Aura (meaning air in Ancient Greek) is the first work in Emma de Polnay’s ongoing exploration of the elemental feminine. Drawing on spiritual and mythological traditions that connect feminine energy to the classical elements, the piece embodies both the fluid, nurturing qualities of water and earth and the fierce, transformative force of fire.
 
Inspired by Hera, the Greek goddess often associated with air, Aura depicts a powerful queen embracing her own wildness. Exhibited for the first time at The Art Yard Sale, November, this work marks the beginning of a richly symbolic new series.
