The Art Yard Sale, organised by Kaos Projects, is a flagship Brighton Fringe event where over 30 contemporary artists sell work directly to the public in a vibrant open-air marketplace. Alongside the live event in Jubilee Square, the Virtual Art Yard Sale offers special editions and timed releases online, giving collectors worldwide the chance to discover and purchase unique artworks.

The Art Yard Sale is coming to Brighton Open Market! ⁣

On Sunday 22nd November, we’re bringing a special winter edition of the Art Yard Sale to @openmarket.btn from 11am-4pm.⁣
⁣
And there couldn’t be a better year to do it. In 2026, the Open Market celebrates 100 years on its current site - a century of independent traders, makers and small businesses selling directly to the people of Brighton.⁣
⁣
That spirit of independence is at the heart of the Art Yard Sale too. For one day, our artists become market traders themselves, taking over their own stalls and giving you the chance to meet them, discover their work and buy directly from the people who made it.⁣
⁣
Expect 30 contemporary artists and creatives, original artworks and prints, live painting, spray art, portrait sessions, live silkscreen printing, artist workshops, music and plenty more throughout the day.⁣

Come for the art, stay for the atmosphere. Meet the makers, soak up the music and join us in celebrating 100 years of Brighton’s independent spirit - and the next hundred to come.⁣
