East Meets West is an evolving body of work that explores the harmony and contradictions of cultural aesthetics within Japanese society and how it positions itself in relation to the West. The work seeks to uncover the esoteric nature of Japanese character and philosophy, aiming to reconcile the Western perception of contradiction and duality.
