“The pink blossoms of the crabapple sprinkle the driveway, each petal a soft gasp of color.” - Andrea Gibson. Calantha - meaning “beautiful flower” in Greek - draws inspiration from Byzantine arches and the quiet sanctity of shrines.
Through cyanotype, hand painting and 22ct gold leaf, the work becomes a meditation on transience, light, and renewal; a moment delicately poised between the earthly and the divine. Each print is individually hand-painted and gilded, available exclusively as a timed release for the Art Yard Sale.
