Sarah Arnett’s latest character series draws on the dramatic lighting, bold colour pairings, and stylised elegance of Tretchikoff, with a nod to fashion illustration in the simplicity of form. Each artwork layers hand‑painted elements, cyanotype processes, and painted wooden surfaces to create a richly tactile finish, while the characters are named playfully after their hair colour. Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, an archival cotton paper with a soft, lightly textured surface that enhances depth and detail, every piece is then hand‑finished in Arnett’s Brighton studio with individually applied 24ct burnished gold leaf, ensuring no two prints are ever the same.
